ロンドンでも帰国したメダリストたち：
英国のヒーローたちを称え、
国民を含め
感謝の気持ちが示された。
まず同日午後、
トラファルガー広場での
"Victoryパレード" & レセプションが行われ
大盛り上がり。
その後、夜
バッキンガムパレスでのレセプションとなった。

レセプションを開催された☆
今回のオリンピック＆パラリンピックで
TeamGBが獲得したメダル数は
なんと、214だって！！
オリンピックだけでも、世界２位の 67 ですが、
いかにパラリンピックでのメダル数が多いか、、、がわかる。
そして英国内で、
パラリンピックの方がより人気
っていうのも頷ける。。

当初ユージェニー王女
も予定されていたが、
叶わなかったよう。

スポーツ支援がマスト
なお三方
当然の出席ですね。
アスリートの一人は
トラファルガー広場からバッキンガムパレスに向かう前
「さあ、未来の旦那様に会いにいざ！」
ってTweetしたり、
クイーンも
ホッケーチームの一人で松葉杖の選手に
開口一番
「ここでやったの？」とジョーク
キャサリン妃は
ジョージ王子＆シャーロット王女のお話をされた。
「シャーロットは馬にとても興味があるようで、乗馬を習うことが大好きみたいです。でもジョージは、ポロのスティックを使ってホッケーの真似をしたりしています。あとフェンシングなども興味を持っているみたいだけれど、きっとマスクが面白いだけかもしれないわね。」

って思ったら
クイーンがブルー系でしたね。
カブるのは宜しくない。
またまたミディ丈のドレス、と
それはエレガントでいいんだけど
柄がなあ〜〜〜
なんか違う気が。
顔が濃いからか、
モードの人じゃないからか、
どうも大柄が似合わない、、、
ワタシの感想
そもそも、
このプリント自体、難関なものでもある。
でも、ポピー柄なので、
きっと戦没者慰霊に関するガラなど、、で
きっと着回しされるはず。
ある意味使える柄でもある。
気づけば、
すっかり最近の足元、
赤だらけ（笑）

'The duchess was telling me how George likes swimming and Charlotte loves horses,' she said.
Discussion with the athletes quickly turned to George and Charlotte. Emily Andrews reported:
"Kate said Charlotte is loving learning to ride, while George was using his polo stick as a hockey stick - much to her delight. And although Kate doesn't share Charlotte's passion for horses, she's said she'll champion and encourage it as much as possible."
'Kate spoke as she joined husband William and the Queen honouring Olympians and Paralympians at a Buckingham Palace reception. Equestrian triple-gold medalist Natasha Baker had a good chat with Kate. The Duchess told her: "George is fascinated by fencing but I think that's because of the face shields. "Charlotte would have loved to be here but she'd be running riot!"
Afterwards the Paralympian said: "I asked her how the children were and she said Charlotte is really enjoying her riding which is great to hear and I said we may see her here on a line-up in 20 years time. "She emphasised that Charlotte has this passion about horses and although she doesn't echo it, she'll do her best to champion and encourage it."
Alex Danson said: 'Kate and William both said they played hockey at university. 'Kate said George has picked up a polo stick and she's trying to show him to use it as a hockey stick.'
Prince Harry appeared to be joking about how one of the hockey players was using crutches and pointed towards his knee
Members of the hockey team were seen laughing as the Prince strode down the corridor and shared a joke

Of course, translating such a richly detailled offering for the needs of a future queen has become a speciality of the Alexander McQueen team; the silk dress worn by the Duchess tonight came with an elegant v-neck, nipped-waist and long, cuffed sleeves.
It's likely that the dress chosen tonight was part of the same order as that worn in Canada as both come from the same collection."

BBC RADIO 1 DJS AND RADIO 1’S TEEN HEROES OF 2016 VISIT THE DUKE AND DUCHESS OF CAMBRIDGE AT KENSINGTON PALACE
BBC Radio 1 DJs and Radio 1’s Teen Heroes of 2016 visited the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge at Kensington Palace to coincide with the reveal of Radio 1’s four inspirational teens of the year.
The young teens who have gone above and beyond what is expected of them to help others were greeted by Their Royal Highnesses, who praised them for their inspirational work and being crowned Teen Heroes of 2016 - in categories which include those focused on mental health and volunteering. They include Lewis (15) who despite his own health problems has created a social platform for poorly and disabled young children, Niamh (15) who has a rare auto immune illness, along with Joe (17) and Toby (15) from Suffolk who are active volunteers and fundraisers for Cancer Research UK.
Radio 1’s Teen Heroes will be honoured at Radio 1’s Teen Awards this Sunday, 23rd October, during an event that celebrates the selfless, brave and exceptional achievements of the UK’s unsung teenage heroes as well as the year’s best music, online, sport and entertainment stars.
Now in its seventh year, Radio 1’s Teen Awards will be held at London’s SSE Arena, Wembley, and will be hosted by Radio 1 Breakfast Show host Nick Grimshaw and special co-hosts. Radio 1’s Teen Awards is one of the biggest events in the pop music calendar, with the line-up for this year’s event featuring spectacular performances from top music acts Little Mix, Jess Glynne, The Vamps, DNCE and special guests.
